AUNT (Freddy) PEGGY (SNELL) WILLIFORD, JIM SNELL, AND MATTIE (TEMPLE) (CURE) SNELL ( Daughter of James Allen Temple)
After her second husband,  Oscar Newton Snell ( b. 1875 and d 1925) Mattie ran a boarding house or hotel in Brady, Texas.  She moved to Warren Texas  about 1941 or 1942.  Her two daughters lived in Warren.
Mattie is buried in the Justice Cemetery in Warren, Texas

  Oscar Norman Snell born July 3rd 1916 in Fort Stockton in Pecos county Tx. His father was Oscar Newton Snell and was 53yrs old when he was born. He is listed as a veterinarian. Mother was Mattie Jane (Temple) Snell and was 43 years old when he was born. She was a housewife. Both of his parents are listed as being born in Texas. Oscar Norman made their 4th kid according to the birth cert. Oscar Norman passed away Sept 10th 1990 @ 74yrs old.

Elanore and Oscar Norman Snell were married September 20th 1937. Handwritten but looks like says in Worland in Washakie County Wyoming@ the Methodist Episcopal Personage. Oscar Norman Snell was 21 old and Elanor was 17yrs old.

Her father was Urn E. Whetstine he is listed as a Farmer (best I can read bc it is hand written). It also says he was born in Kansas. He was 37 @ the time of her birth. Her mother was Loretta (maiden name Farrell) Whetstine listed as a housewife. Says she was born in Wyoming. She was 33 when she was born (again hand written so it’s hard to read definately 30something pretty sure 33).  They mispelled Elanores name, There was a paper attached to the birth cert showing that she had it corrected. Elanore was their 6th child according to the birth cert. Elanore passed away July 3rd 1996 @ 75yrs old.
